Are acrylic nail extensions really suitable for everyone?

Acrylic nail correction is a common nail art technique that can instantly repair broken, dented, or deformed nails, making them look neater and more natural. However, many people mistakenly believe that acrylic nail correction is suitable for everyone. In fact, whether or not to use this technique should be carefully evaluated based on different nail conditions and health situations.

For people with brittle nails, prone to splitting, or with fungal infections (onychomycosis), getting acrylic nail extensions directly may cause further damage and even affect the health of the nail bed.
Crystal solvents contain specific chemical components that may trigger allergic skin reactions, especially for those with sensitive skin.
While acrylic material is hard and can effectively strengthen bitten nails or poorly shaped nails, its rigidity can also exacerbate nail splitting or pressure on the nail bed, especially with long-term use or improper removal. Therefore, it is recommended to first assess the health of your nails. If you have onychomycosis or fungal problems, you should prioritize a gentle repair treatment rather than directly using acrylic nails for correction.
